The JYEP is committed to educating your child on Sunday mornings; however that is not the whole story. In addition to the Big Brother/ Big Sister program where each child is assigned a Big Sibling to mentor and teach them Hebrew reading and language and the classes where they join the rest of the children in the classroom for study in Bible, holidays and Jewish ethics and values, we offer many extra- curricular activities.

We offer semi-annual Shabbatonim/ special Shabbat retreats where the children come together with their Big Sibling to spend Shabbat with the whole school. There is a tremendous amount of camaraderie: singing and dancing and spending time with their JYEP friends.

There is a monthly club-hour/Mitzvah Day where the entire family is invited after school to join their child for lunch and a special community outreach activity.

 

We also offer special family programs around the Jewish holidays. Sukkot dinner, Tu Bshvat Seder, Purim Carnival and Passover Model Seder are but a few of the offerings.
