Enrichment Goals

The JYEP is committed to educating your child on Sunday mornings; however that is not the whole story. In addition to the Big Brother/ Big Sister program where each child is assigned a Big Sibling to teach them Hebrew reading and language and the classes where they join the rest of the children in the classroom for classes in Bible, holidays and Jewish ethics and values, we offer many extra- curricular activities.

We offer semi-annual Shabbatonim/ special Shabbat retreats where the children come together with their big Sibling to spend Shabbat with the whole school. There is a tremendous amount of camaraderie: singing and dancing and spending time with their JYEP friends.

There is a monthly club-hour where the children may choose to stay after school and join other children doing themed craft projects and having lunch together

There is also a monthly Mitzvah Day where the entire family is invited after school to join their child for lunch and a special community outreach activity.

There is a very vibrant free adult education program run by Torah Links where parents are invited to park their cars on Sunday mornings and join other parents for a morning of classes, discussions and socializing.
